Engage With MMS
Mountaineer Montessori School is a special community that brings students, teachers, parents, alumni, businesses, and friends together to help children fulfill their unique potential, serve our neighbors, and create a better world for all people.
Our school is a community-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded by tuition, foundation and business partnerships, and personal donations.
Community support helps keep our program accessible to the growing number of families seeking access to high-quality alternatives to one-size-fits-all schools.
We invite you to help MMS continue offer a world-class, 21st century education to children in West Virginia and increase access to our school through financial aid by engaging with us today!

In-kind contributions
Our Apple lab and classroom computers were recently upgraded thanks to generous business partners. We gratefully accept in-kind donations of all kinds. Here are some of the items currently on our “wish list”:
- Live and silent auction items for spring fundraiser
- High quality digital camera
- Utility sink for art room

Legacy gifts
Plant the seeds for the tomorrow. Making a legacy gift to MMS ensures that your commitment to quality education will be sustained into the future. Did you know that anyone can create a legacy gift at any point in their life? It can be as easy as naming MMS on the beneficiary form on a savings, checking or pension account, or through a more complex instrument like a charitable trust. All these gifts represent a powerful and meaningful way for you to create a philanthropic legacy for your community and Mountaineer Montessori.

Kroger Cards
Kroger will donate up to 5 percent of your grocery purchases to MMS through its Kroger Community Rewards program. Simply sign up at Kroger Community Rewards and select “Mountaineer Montessori School” as your beneficiary.
