After school
At Mountaineer Montessori, the learning doesn’t end when class is over. Our Plus Program extends the Montessori curriculum before and after school, offering a rich variety of activities and materials in a nurturing environment to keep the discovery and learning going throughout the day.
Children ages 2-4 have the option of attending half-days or full-days in the classroom. The afternoon time includes lunch, creative time and rest time. Primary children who are not napping join the afternoon work cycle.
Children ages 3 and up have the opportunity to stay after school in our Plus program. Children start their Plus time with a healthy snack provided by the school, and then enjoy a variety of activities including quiet time, homework assistance, read aloud, indoor free play and crafts, and outdoor free play.
Hours:
Early morning drop-off: 7:30 a.m.
Half-day Primary students: 11:45-2:45 p.m.
After school Plus: 2:45-5:30 p.m. (pick up times at 4:15 or 5:15)
